Robert Stewart

Executive Chair

Rob is passionate about Laudato Si and values based economics. After almost 30 year in the school uniform industry Rob retired to pursue a long held dream of going back to university to research values based economics. However  a discussion with long time friend, Chris Baring-Gould, led Rob to found SEAM with Chris and his co-directors.

Rob has a deep understanding of the  needs of school communities and complex supply chains. Rob's strengths are in relationship management, leadership, iterative strategic planning and creative problem solving. Rob completed an MBA at Melbourne Business School.

Kristina Yang

Science & Technical Officer

Kristina completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Zoology and is currently studying a Masters of Environment at the University of Melbourne. Her passion for ecosystems and sustainable development guides her studies on food systems and natural resource management. She is a proponent for the role of science communication and education in reversing climate change. 

Kristina seeks to combine her curiosity about the natural world with her drive to achieve a just and sustainable environment for all. Her work at SEAM combines her passion for environment, education and people with the opportunity to make change.

Chris Baring-Gould

Director

Chris is an experienced and values-driven finance professional, with over 30 years of private and not-for-profit sectors experience at both board and management levels.  He brings recognised capabilities in leadership and management, operationalizing strategy, business transformations and governance.

He is currently a Director of not-for-profit Spectrum Victoria, listed companies Endless Solar Limited and Authorised Investment Fund Limited, and independent Audit Committee member of Funds in Court (an arm of Victorian Supreme Court). Chris holds a Bachelor of Business (RMIT), MBA (Monash) and also is a Certified Practicing Accountant.

Mark Mason

Project Manager

Mark has more than 30 years experience in the stewardship of built and natural environments. With a civil engineering background, he has diverse expertise in water, facilities and environmental management gained in public and private sectors.

Mark has had responsibilities in engineering design, operations and emergency management, feasibility studies, environmental and risk assessments, project management, ISO 14001 systems, and managing compliance with regulatory standards. Particular projects he has managed include assessing the condition and maintenance status of a $4.5B asset portfolio at the University of Melbourne, industrial land contamination assessment, and the design of a rural water supply scheme consisting of over 1000 km of pipelines in the Mallee.

Pal Singh

Director

Paul is a senior business leader and technology champion with over 25 years of experience in managing, developing, and transforming multibillion-dollar businesses across Australia and the Asia Pacific. He is a member of CPA, a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and completed an MBA at Monash University.

He has worked in information technology, logistics, manufacturing, consumer products and professional services sectors. Currently he is on the board of Spectrum MRC, Eskleigh Foundation and Medical Pantry operating in human, age-care and disability services.

Tina Brunet

Director

Tina has built her vocational foundations upon her core value of social justice, particularly around issues of economic equity, prevention of violence against women and accessibility of education to women and girls from impoverished communities.  Tina spent 10 years working at World Vision Australia where she led supporters to the field to uncover stories of resilience and empowerment.  She spent 2 years at Vision Australia where she created their flagship leadership program for young people with disabilities.

She is the founder of Full Circle Social Enterprises whose mission is to deliver a leadership program to girls who are from disadvantaged communities in India.  Tina holds a Graduate Certificate of Development and  Humanitarian Action and is completing a Masters of Social Impact at Swinburne University. Her primary focus and work remains deeply rooted in realising outcomes that create a sustainable and more equitable world for generations to come.

Janet Cribbes

Director

Janet has a career spanning three decades, working in state and local government, community services, the private and the non-for-profit sectors. Janet is an experienced Board chair and director. She specialises in governance, ethical and authentic leadership in the non-for-profit and local government sphere, coaching executives, CEOs and leaders to live their best lives.

Her community engagement saw her elected to Port Phillip Council in 2004 to 2008 with a term as mayor in 2008. Graduating from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Social Science and Bachelor of Social Work, much of her history has been in initiating and operationalising creative responses to challenging social problems.

Rod Berryman

Director

Rod has extensive business development experience in finance, principally in insurance, leasing, trade and working capital industries. He is a very passionate about building and nurturing win-win relationships that lead to innovative service and product opportunities. He is also a natural collaborator and partnership builder in ecosystems.

While Rod is currently a channel partner for Fifo Capital, he has developed a keen interest in, and created many relationships with organisations that have strong credentials in Environmental Social Governance (ESG), sustainability and social impacts. He has actively worked with financial institutions and encouraged them to realise funding opportunities with future growth prospects in the areas of ESG, climate change, and corporate social responsibility.

SEAM provides Rod with the opportunity to create outcomes that contribute towards the delivery of better outcomes and equality for future generations.
